hey everyone...
I'm posting poems by a great kids poem writter. He is really good, his name is Shel Silverstein . My sister was looking around in my room for things one night and found 2 poem books by this guy. I thought it would be nice to share these poems with everyone. I hope yall like them. I sure do. Pgs 1-6 is nothing really, its the into of the book so i wont be writting that. This first book is called Falling Up.
FALLING UP
I tripped on my shoelace
And I fell up--
Up to the roof tops,
Up over the town,
Up past the tree tops,
Up over the mountains,
Up where the colors,
Blend into the sounds,
But it got me so dizzy
When I looked around,
I got sick to my stomach
And I threw down.
